The crossply technique was developed by Machinefabriek Van Wees in Tilburg The Netherlands This expertise did not spring up overnight it has developed from the knowledge and experience which Van Wees has built up within the textile industry since 1945 The management of Van Wees has been in the hands of managing director Rien van den Aker since 1994 He is an innovative engineer who made his name in the development departments of car manufacturer Vovo Car, Fokker Aircrafs and the chemical company DSM and his own company for the development and manufacturing of composite products
